We serve clients in Chemicals, Tech, and Life Sciences who market and service process equipment installations to fulfill the needs of our industry. We work in engineering, R&D, technology development and manufacturing. Quite varied yet all of them promote safety, innovation, growth and prosperity. What this job is about:

As a Field Service Engineer at Chemploy, you will work on-site on challenging assignments in the chemical, high-tech and life sciences industries. You ensure a proper start-up, commissioning, maintenance and repair of process equipment and installations such as temperature control systems, chillers, reaction- or separation-systems, analytical equipment or alike. This means that you are willing to dive deep to ensure that equipment and installations function properly in terms of reliability and robustness.

The job entails a high degree of autonomy and diversity; you will work with a variety of great clients in a variety of sectors (oil and gas, high-tech, research, chemicals) in the Benelux.

What do we look for then? =All-round technology professionals that recognize themselves in this description:

  • Vocational degree in mechanics (in Dutch: MBO): mechanics or similar
  • You have worked a few years (or more) in industry
  • Customer focus and entrepreneurial attitude.
  • You feel comfortable travelling to and back from clients to execute service projects on-site.
  • Ideally, you live in the centre of the Netherlands or in the South East.
  • You enjoy interacting with people (especially interactions of the funny type 😉
  • You have a practical hands-on attitude and are keen to develop robust solutions that work.
  • Socially engaged and well-developed communicative skills. What we mean by that is you are
  • capable of explaining any issues that you may encounter on the job and share your solutions and insights with the client, as well as with the inbound team.
  • Strongly preferred: certificate F-gasses category 2
  • Languages: Good command of Dutch
